POWDER COATING ALTERNATIVE
Our Wheel Color It™ “Powder Lock Coatings” enable our operators to achieve the same look, feel, & performance as traditional powder coating. This rich, high-gloss, and durable finish has been tested for hardness that rivals that of conventional powder coatings. With this coating, our network can offer same-day service to customers, eliminating the usual 1- to 3-day wait for wheel remanufacturing associated with powder coating.
Additionally, the DTM system is a more environmentally friendly alternative to powder coating. It requires curing at just 140°F using standard body shop infrared lamps, making it a more energy efficient process compared to powder coating, which needs ovens heated to 400°F and multiple passes through the oven. This not only saves time but also reduces energy consumption, allowing for same-day service.
